A life spent looking closely.

Originally from Germany, Clarissa built her eye in television and film production, photographer representation, and a fashion and fine-art studio before making photography her own.

Her path led through Maui, Hawai‘i, and eventually to Santa Barbara, now home to Clarissa, three cats, and a life spent documenting love, people, flowers, dogs, and all the ways people come together.

For more than 15 years, she has photographed celebrations throughout the United States and abroad.
